While he hasn't made a whole lot of movies, actor/model and former Madonna boytoy Tony Ward has nevertheless made sufficient splash to more than merit a mention in the infamous Starmale blog. Fact is Mr. Ward is one extremely hot and horny-making man whose place in the annals of skin has long been safely established.
His 1996 debut in the opening scenes of director Bruce La Bruce's avant-porn masterpiece Hustler White is one of those performances indelibly imprinted in the memories of all male skin fanatics. The sight of the Material Girl's boyfriend taking it up the ass is almost too good to be true, but it's just the beginning in a whole series of wildly nude romps for Tony and the rest of the gang.
If that performance were not enough, two years later Mr. Ward gave us yet another sizable sizzle in a tasty little doc called Sex/Life in L.A.. After all this time, what's there to say about Brad Pitt that's not been said? Oh yeah, he's still hot, still amazingly sexy, still one of the most beautiful men in the world. He pretty much defines male glamour and sex appeal in this, the new millennium. Now that's the good news...
For a celebrity whose face and, more particularly, whose bod has launched a thousand post-modern wet dreams, Mr. Pitt has been strangely reticent to give his fans a shot at any really serious skin. At best, we've had a handful of rear views, usually brief and often crepuscularly lit. If it weren't for the infamous paparazzi nudes (see below), we'd be stuck with the few skin shots that dot the physical landscape of films like Thelma & Louise, Kalifornia, Legends of the Fall and Twelve Monkeys.
After Brad buffed-up bigtime for Wolfgang Petersen's 2004 sword'n'sandal epic Troy, many skin fanatics were hoping this meant we were in for a bigger and better view of what Mr. Pitt has to offer, but the version initially released was peculiarly tepid and unsatisfying. Happily a new "director's cut" has just been released on DVD providing considerably more Brad skin and, most particularly, a whole lot more Brad butt. STOP THE PRESSES! That was the word round here when we first saw the full-frontal party video of 22-year-old New York fireman and NYFD calendar coverboy Michael Biserta.
I mean this was one new-formed hero hottie who obviously deserved the title, especially when you consider what he was displaying so shamelessly in the vid would make most horses jealous! Our reaction was apparently the exact opposite of the chief of the NYFD who, after checking out the action, decreed an official end to all future calendars (and thus calendarboys).

The Brits have a long and glorious history of producing beautiful bad boys who do terribly good things. Offered for your consideration this week is 30-year-old Danny Dyer who, in a series of interesting and inventive films, has positively proven that there's no one more compelling or sexier than a proud and cheeky east Londoner.
Of course the term "cheeky" really only half covers the case when it comes to Mr. Dyer's skin scenes...and what a lovely and well-formed pair of cheeks they are! It's a sad fact, but when it comes to celebrity nudity, sometimes we all have to settle for less than the 'full-monty'. Case in point is one of my personal all-time faves, Ian Somerhalder. For some reason, despite all my pleading, praying and whining, Ian simply refuses to strip down like the beautful Greek god that he is! Instead he seems all too content to tease me and the rest of his hard-up fans with a series of oh so provocative poses that only leave us panting for more.
That said, it's in a flick like The Rules of Attraction where Ian proves that, in his case, less actually might be more. In the now famous underwear scenes, he is so seriously sexy that you have to wonder whether the tease in this case is more stimulating than the basic naked reality. Long before he took our collective breath away as the audacious and handsome Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, mega-hunk Viggo Mortensen was winning kudos from critics and skin fans alike for his superb acting skills and his equally superb physical form.
In a whole series of small, but excellent independent films like The Passion of Darkly Moon, The Crew, Boiling Point, The Reflecting Eye and particularly in Sean Penn's directorial debut The Indian Runner, Mr. M demonstrated that he was more than a match for any assignment thrown at him. More to our point, hee also showed he wasn't afraid to put some serious skin on public display.
Viggo's given us some truly awesome rear views in flicks like The Reflecting Eye, Psycho and A History of Violence, but it was in the aforementioned Indian Runner that he presented us with the full monty and guaranteed himself a spot in the skin hall of fame. Here's all the proof you'll ever need:
