I suppose if every male celebrity was as willing (and, in fact, eager) as Steve-O to reveal his private goods to the public weal, then there wouldn't be much of a point to a site like Starmale. There's no question that Mister O has taken celeb nudity to a whole new (if almost absurd) level as the newly released Jackass II and his recent appearance on Howard Stern's TV show both amply demonstrate.
But IMHO there is something to be said about anyone who is as clearly as comfortable in his own skin as Steve-O, even if that often means doing awfully uncomfortable (not to say scandalous) things to the various protruberances and orifices of said skin.
Interestingly, Steve-O's 2002 dvd Don't Try This At Home features a special section called "Career Killer" in which he undergoes a graphic and painful waxing of his pubic hair (see pic above).
Given the huge success of his new film and other ventures, his choice to go fully full-frontal was obviously anything but a career killer. And maybe that's something some of our more reticent stars ought to consider (are you listening, Messrs. Pitt and Depp?).
